KNX ceiling sensor for built-in installation. With temperature sensor, humidity sensor, brightness sensor, presence detector and light control. Along with logic functions to make full use of all these features and allow them to interact with each other. The Sensor additionally measures the temperature and the air humidity and calculates the dewpoint. Via the bus, the indoor sensor can receive external values of temperature and humidity and process them further with its own data to a total value (mixed value, e.g. room average). Integrated PI-controllers control ventilation (humidification/dehumidification according to humidity) and heating/cooling (according to temperature).
Commonly used in Bathrooms and here is why:
- Combination sensor with room thermostat allowing for greater efficiency with climate control systems
- Presence detector/movement detector with adjustable limits for Detection lux & Activation times
- Mixed light measurement (daylight and artificial light)
- Constant light control for optimum use of daylight
- Awarded design with glass surface
- Logic Functions for advanced automations
Devices that pair well with this:
- Dampers for efficient zone control of ducted aircon units
- Extraction Fans to get triggered at specified humidity
- Z50 & Z100 Touch panels to monitor and graph room averages (temperature, lux & humidity)

The first thing you notice when installing this sensor is the premium build quality and design that looks really nice in most spaces. When it comes to motion detection it works exactly as expected and is super easy to program, with humidity it gets a little bit more complex since you may have to calibrate it a bit to suit the room depending on size etc. But once again its just works as expected. With its additional functions you can also get a lot more in depth with the level of automation, using the lux, temperature and humidity to control heating, windows, blinds and basically have the room run itself.
A cool application of this sensor is in a bathroom as you can have the sensor control presence detection in that so that the lights stay on only while someone is in the room, Temperature value to adjust the underfloor heating thermostat (in addition to the floor probes), humidity detection will control the extractor fan and lux measurements can frost the windows or close the blinds in the room when it gets dark, making it fully autonomous.
