The DATALOGGER V2 is the tool for data recording, control and optimization of automated environments based on KNX.
POWERFUL HARDWARE
Thanks to powerful hardware, the DATALOGGER V2 can also process large amounts of data (8 GB eMMC industrial memory). Based on MySQL, it stores the data not only internally, but also in an external database, thus increasing the available data volume. If desired, certain group address ranges can be defined so that only the relevant data is recorded.
TARGETED MONITORING
If desired, the DATALOGGER V2 monitors any IP and KNX subscribers, which are determined by IP or physical addresses, and provides information about the connection status. In addition, values of individual KNX group addresses can be monitored. The conditions for notifications in the event of value overshoots or undershoots can be freely defined. The complete recording and automated export function of the DATALOGGER V2 are ideal tools for analyzing processes in automation environments. In this way, you can get to the bottom of faulty KNX applications or incorrect programming in no time at all. The “Top 10 function” provides immediate information about the most frequently sent KNX group addresses or KNX subscribers, thus helping to narrow down errors and identify optimization potential.
AUTOMATIC EXPORT FUNCTION
Once set up, the DATALOGGER V2 performs its tasks automatically: The data can be recorded and exported in defined cycles by e-mail. Warnings in case of lack of storage space are issued immediately. With the help of the ETS5 project information, the DATALOGGER V2 structures the recorded data independently.
WEB-BASED CONFIGURATION
The platform-independent web interface for configuration simplifies commissioning and enables intuitive and fast application of important functions, such as setting up e-mail sending, user administration and the external database connection.
ROUTER FUNCTIONALITY
The DATALOGGER V2 is not only used for recording and monitoring, but also offers KNX IP router functionality. It therefore includes three functions in one device. This significantly reduces the initial costs.
RECORD KNX TELEGRAMS: DATA ANALYSIS MADE EASY
For efficient data analysis, the DATALOGGER V2 offers a targeted export by time period and group address ranges. The values of the telegrams are automatically scaled when the ETS file is imported and thus form the basis for an exact data analysis based on a CSV, XLS or XML file. The web interface provides an overview of the databases and statistics of KNX telegrams and subscribers.
